Well the official word is that the LaRue has turned down Mr. Bustos most recent offer. The LaRue family with their attorney met with Mr. Bustos and his attorney in Sacramento to discuss the possibility of Bustos Media acquiring both KSTN's. While I don't know how much the LaRue family was offered this time, the last time, Mr. Bustos offered $29 Million for 107.3 and $1.2 Million for 1420. The LaRue family have decided not to sell the stations anytime soon. There however has been a bit of a twist. Mr. Bustos wants to LMA 107.3. Since he can't own it, he has offered to run 107.3 in a 5 year LMA deal. I don't know if the LaRue family will take him up on that offer, One thing for sure, the ownership of both KSTN's will remain LOCAL!!!
