KSTP Changes public and now a Question

FROM ALLACCESS->

" KSTP/Twin Cities Shuffle: Clark For Mornings, Mischke For PM Drive
The post-RUSH LIMBAUGH era at HUBBARD Talk KSTP-A/ST. PAUL-MINNEAPOLIS will include a new morning host and several shuffles to fill the gap as LIMBAUGH moves to CLEAR CHANNEL's new KTLK-F in JANUARY and SEAN HANNITY's show gets moved to late nights in preparation for that show's move to KTLK later in 2006.

The MINNEAPOLIS STAR-TRIBUNE reports that the new morning man is KSCJ-A/SIOUX CITY, IA's WILLIE CLARK, with current morning man BOB DAVIS moving to 9a-Noon and middayers RON ROSENBAUM and MARK O'CONNELL shifting to Noon-2p. JOE SOUCHERAY's "GARAGE LOGIC" moves up to 2-5:50, leading into TOMMY MISCHKE, whose show will move from late nights to 5:30-7:30p, flipping slots with HANNITY. Evening host CHRIS KROK will handle 7:30-10p. "

Now some questions.

What is WFMP's Billing a year?

Is that station, even with the large on-air staff, just a major Cash Cow for Hubbard?

Mischke has been referred to as unique radio talent in this world of corporate sameness. And to his crdit, he is. But his attraction has always been to a small audience that appreciates his personality. Whether he is on at 10 PM or 5:30 PM, his numbers will be the same unless he changes his on-air personality. And I'm sure management is also keeping their fingers crossed that he does not take any more extended "medical" leaves.

Jason Davis must me watching this in warm Charlotte and chuckling to himself.

My apologies to the 3 people who read this list, actually it is Jason Lewis, not Jason Davis who is watching the unraveling of AM 1500. And by the way, Jason Lewis has made "The Heavy Hundred 2005" from Talkers Magazine. He has been named by the magazine as one of the top 100 most important talk show hosts in the nation.
