Will the return of Steve Konrad do anything to change/improve this station? What about the impending loss of Limbaugh? Any thoughts as to who could take over that time slot?

By KSTP, do you mean KS95, or KSTP AM?
I assume you mean AM since you are talking about Limbaugh. Do you mean Rush Limbaugh?

No, he means 94.5. They're moving Limbaugh to the FM and dumping the rest of the talkers. 1500 will become a simulcast of WLOL.

:)

Jeez, it is plain as day to the rest of us.

He killed KLIF in Dallas, then went to a turnkey/caretaker operation in Ohio. What happened in DFW should've resulted in a lifetime banishment from programming talk radio, but here he gets another chance. So be it.

Not sure how much it matters, KSTP has bigger management flaws at higher levels and is losing Rush. Not doing well recently and that trend should continue.

Agreed. It's amazing to watch both the television and radio sides of the Hubbard empire self destruct. The AM has been succesfully run by Ginnie Morris for several years. But for the past 24 months, their Abitron numbers are pointing down, they've delayed Rush for an hour, the Jason Lewis fiasco, GL and Joe seems to have run it's course, now they lose Rush...

He's the one responsible for the current bottomfeeder, click-on-Simian-and-turn-the-lights-out-before-leaving status at once-great KLIF?

no, Konrad left about 5 yrs. ago or so. KLIF went to about a 0.6 shr. under him. Had been about 4x that before. Changed it to "Big 570", incredibly stupid programs.
