KSTZ

As of right now...nothing.

Could happen tommorow, or a couple weeks from now. There was no timeline. I would have thought it would have happened by now though. Unless something happens in an hour or so, or during the day tommorow.

I wouldn't get too excited. Remember, you're dealing with Saga here...AC and oldies, that's what they do best!!!

They are high if they flip this.

While I don't have any 25-54 breakdown, I would rather have their latest numbers in a 25-54 dominant format, than #2 in the market 12+ in a format that's 12-34 focused at best. (Vagueness courtesy of RandR gag order on this site).

If the problem is billing, which I doubt, you need different salespeople if they can't sell their current audience.

In this situation, if you flip 102.5, you must do this assuming that someone else is going to fill the real Hot AC position one way or the other.

And, remember, it could be worse, you could be KMXD! My 80's, my 90's, my God! How would you like THOSE numbers?

"Without all the rap, rap, rap... for now."

So, Labor Day Weekend came and went and nothing happened on KSTZ. Exactly as I said. Maybe I'm not so damn clueless and uninformed. Oh, and KSTZ is doing just fine on their billing if you must know.

As I said before, it could be that my source wasn't as 'in the loop' as he thought, or that minds were changed on this idea. It could also be that the change is yet to come, as I never specified a date.

...but none of that will keep you from being clueless or uninformed :)

just like the "rumor" several month's ago that 97.3 was going to flip to the "madly popular" CHR/Rythmic format?.

Just like i've all but quit hoping that ESPN radio would return to Des Moines, those who want CHR/Rythmic should quit hoping because it's never going to happen.

Actually, that might have happened, had it not been for the preemptive strike of the Beat, which got ratings...but not billing.

I was referring to the rumor hotbed from a couple of months ago when 97.3 went jockless and moved it's NASCAR programming to 98.3

DUH. Hence my mention of "ratings, but not billing."
