KSWW legal

I was listening yesterday around 4 in the afternoon as we were driving back from Ocean Shores yesterday and noticed the legal. Shouldn't it say KSWW Ocean Shores Aberdeen Hoquiam? Right now, it says KSWW Montisano Aberdeen Hoquiam.

In legals the first city mentioned after the calls is the city of license - which IIRC IS Montesano.

That's the thing though Mike, according to radio locater, the city of license is Ocean Shores which would make more sense, since KANY moved to Montasano, and if I remember right, local service has to be maintained in the original col if the station moves, which is why KSWW moved from Elma to Ocean Shores. I also don't quite understand how KLSY was able to move when there are no other stations licensed to South Bend.

Montesano, WA Delete 271C2

Maybe nobody's updated the legal since then.

I think KSWW is licensed to Montesano. Their legal actually starts with "ELMA, Montesano, Aberdeen, Hoquiam" why I do not know. But no Ocean Shores in that ID, even though KANY says "Ocean Shores to Olympia".

I think Mr Wolfenbarger has family matters that trump any minor legal ID problems.

I didn't know hat she had passed away. Sorry to hear that.

KSWW now says "Ocean Shores" in the legal. New city of license.

It's been a difficult three months. My father passed away in May, Susan in July, and my mother just a few weeks ago.

Nonetheless, the IDs were updated, but I think maybe there was a loose one in rotation. They should be all okay now.
