KSYC "Siskyou Country" Sold to JPR

Jefferson Public Radio has made an offer on KSYC-FM "Siskyou Country 103.9" I don't know if the sale has been approved yet, but doesn't JPR cover the area just fine? Maybe they could put the News and Information Service on FM?

I agree, the only commericial stations left now are KCWH (Classic Hits/Rush Limbaugh) and KRVC (Hot 98.9, CHR) Maybe Hot 98.9 could flip back to country?

Sometimes MyMix 93 might come in loud & clear in Yreka, and if doesn't come clear on 93.7, you can get it on 100.9 in Yreka.

Haven't seen an FCC application yet -- and its been over two months since the news was made public. Something must be holding it up. Doesn't KZRO 100.1 get into Yreaka ??

Siskiyou County has MORE Non-Commercial radio stations NOW than Commercial stations. Someone - please drop in a commercial radio channel -- so JPR can have another station !!!!

They first started out on 1340 with only 250 watts and then moved to 620. But that was before they increased the power on the old class 4 frequencies to 1 KW. JPR even once filed to put 1340 back into the area.
