KTAR Breaking News?

Well that's vague.... There's been a lot of news today. Which one do you feel needed to be more important?
BOH? Buckeye Oldies Hut?
Nurse Jeff and I aren't sure what the beef is with KT'R's breaking news. If it's in regards to the Sandusky verdict, that was announced around 7:15pm Friday when both 92~Three and 5~Fifty were into syndicated programming. Because just about everyone knew how the verdict would go, there really wasn't much interest in hearing it announced.
Now when the Supremes rule on 10~Seventy and Obamacare (Mon or Thu this week), then we'll hear how both stations handle it. No doubt KT'R will have to take some calls, but will they be from listeners or community leaders and Todos Somos Arizona? KFWhyEye will take both, plus their local talkers will give listeners the chance to (as Mohan would say..) blow out the phones!
And filed away in the "who cares anymore" folder, did anyone realize last week KT'R observed their 90th anniversary? Actually it's the mighty 6~Twenty that turned 90, not that whipper-snapper 92~Three. A tip of the fez to Pat McBland for mentioning it...not sure anyone else did or cared.

In their first hour Thursday afternoon, Dumb & Dumber had an Obamacare interview with Sam (am I still relevant?) Donaldson and Meghan (I was never relevant) McCain. That basically amounted to D&Dx2. Fortunately for their peeps, Dr Sam Benjamin and Bruce St James followed in the next hour as as part of a KT'R Medical Summit.
As for the Nurse and me, we're having a Jack Summit tonight at the Media Hut. Even though Dumb and Dumber don't know Jack, Mr Daniels sure knows us! Watch out for broken glass in the parking lot
