KTAR-FM has low ratings right now

I find out today on the internet today that News 92.3 KTAR has 1.8 in Arbitron Winter 2007 Phase Two Results.

Sports 620 KTAR has 2.4 in Arbitron Winter 2007 Phase Two Results. This sports station has better ratings than the The Fan 1060 AM owner by Sandusky Radio.

98.7 The Peak ratings down from 3.1 to 2.8 in Arbitron Winter 2007 Phase II Results.

I think News/Talk FM is not working like FREE FM (Hot Talk Radio).

More and more people is listening to News/Talk 550 KFYI than News 92.3 KTAR ;D

Arbitron isn't known for producing accurate #'s. I'm sure some people get confused about which KTAR they are listening to when the write it in their diary.
 
I heard KFYI numbers in the last month were worse than KT'R.

Incorrect. KTAR in the 12+ and in the 25-54 numbers is significantly behind KFYI. The numbers are easily accessible, so see for yourself, but KFYI is more than 1.5 ahead of KTAR in the 12+, 25-54, it's a much greater distance.
 
KTARAM has a higher number than KTARFM? Obviously these numbers still aren't right. When will the real numbers be out?
 
Barry Young promised to deconstruct the numbers tomorrow.

Might be worth turning over from Dennis Miller to listen.
 
Wonder if he'll mention KFYI's worst month in more than 4 years? Friend of mine in sales at a different station at cc told me they lost 10 hours of time tuned in from Jan to Feb. Said Their 25-54 share was down something like more than 300%. It's so funny to hear the people who work at other stations get all doped up when KFYI has a sucker month. I'm sure Barry will do something real unusual and say KT'R is living off Sun City and KFYI is king of the world.
 
Well at least the Wonder Blogger at KT'R-FM beat Movin' 97...but just barely! And in spite of what TMISU do to drive away listeners at Sports Siberia 8~Sixty, they're still there :eek:

TMISU are patient, but if this sled doesn't start accelerating in the next book the Nurse and I think they'll be taking a chainsaw to News 92~Three, where Hip-Hop used to live. How embarassing it must be to be beaten by an Evil el Lay talker in PMD!

How embarassing it must be to be talking smack when you obviously haven't seen the numbers. The Evil el Lay talker in PMD hasn't beaten KT'R in more than a year. If you got the numbers you know what's going down homie. But if this place was bout the truth it'd be boreville.

Boreville? Isn't that how the parent company of KT'R spells their name? When you take a break from changing the loop on Sports Siberia 8~Sixty, tell Luvable 1 that Doctor Akbar 'n Nurse Jeff said "hi".

I'll bet that this is indeed the case.

But something needs some explaining...the numbers I see show Spring/Summer/Fall and the winter trends. Both the KTAR-AM and KTAR-FM lines show some decent numbers for Spring/Summer/Fall. What shares are being listed for KTAR-FM? They are not the old KKFR shares, and except for that, KTAR-FM didn't exist last spring. KTAR-AM merely changed format in January.

Probably not. Most diary entries are by dial position, not calls. In fact, in Fall, over 70% of KTAR (simulcast) entries were frequency based.
