KTAR Traffic Reporters

I notice this usually in the middays. KTAR has GREAT talent who have lost their jobs at other Phoenix stations, and now they do traffic reports on KTAR for a day, or two... then we never hear them again. What's the deal?
 
I noticed the same thing. I heard Joe mack, Mike Patrick and a few others. I listened today and heard Steve Ludwig and I guess he's been there for a long time. Maybe the others were filling in.
 
Yeah. Example: I heard John Michaels one day, many many months ago (back when Ankarlo was still on). So I know it's not like they didn't "make it" -- because John Michaels rocks.

While Mike Patrick seemed to be on only briefly, Joe Mack has more often than not
been the trafficmeister on Saturday middays in recent months.

But what about Gary Bruce (or is it Bruce Gary)? ;)
 
I had to check further into this. See KLL what you started? ;)

I called KTAR, and the traffic service they use is Metro Traffic systems at the Scottsdale airpark. I got their telephone number and will call them tomorrow.

I too would like to find out if John Michaels still works for them. Also, what's going on with Mike Patrick. And does Joe mac only work weekends.

Another name...Becky Lynne...was doing traffic and now I hear her on occasion middays filling in I guess for Jayme and Pamela.

I don't think that's necessarily the case with KTAR, though. A lot of times, the various traffic reporters will engage with the lead-in news anchor, something you don't see with the prerecorded traffic reporters on other stations.
 
Also add in David Mouscovitz (spelling!!!) David used to work with either Mohan or Goyette on KFYI.

It's actually Gary Bruce Gerry. You either miss the first Gary or the last Gerry. :D

I used to enjoy Bruce Gary on KTAR. He worked the afternoons often with Diane Brennan. I also wish they would bring back the old traffic beds. I liked the chime they used to use. This race car, car theme is annoying.
