As someone who has watched the radio landscape change in this town year, after year, after year, the changes at KTARDED have been faster than a Cardinal season going down the drain.

Can they really take themselves seriously at this point?

After all the talk of sounding better (Pat McMahon and Ned Foster - two of the most insincere people ever ;D), being local (Ankarlo from Dallas :) and being first (hmmm....conservative hosts...where have I heard that before?), they decided that they would be much better off trying to be like the OTHER guys. How pathetic for the once mighty 620. :'(

Too bad there are still some truly professional radio people there who have to put up with the decisions of those who are not.

Are you a fool? You want the glory days of Preston, Pat, Snow, & Simons? You sack KTAR for having McBland on the air and now you are calling them pathetic for pulling him off the air. Fool. KTAR sounded like a station waving the white flag three years ago. Now they appear to have pulled out the cannon.

I'll give TMISU credit here: They don't favor Mormons when it comes to air personalities. They may keep their management "close to home," so to speak, but they do tend to put who they think (not necessarily who we think ;D ) are the best people they can find on the air whenever possible - Gerald, Simons, and Gaydos notwithstanding.
