KTAR Winter Storm Coverage

Last night, I also happened upon KTAR's "sister" station to see what kind of coverage they were giving the storm of the century. No, I'm not talking about 98.7 the PEAK or Sports Parking Lot 620, but the night-time blowtorch that is Gospel 860. There was a live DJ and everything in the studios giving updated traffic closures and weather reports, all while mixing it in with some prayers of safety and well-being for those out in the elements. It was the first time since 860 flipped to all-gospel music that I haven't heard a hymn of alleluia being song out loud! So while KTAR gets credit for having the best wall-to-wall coverage, I think we should give some mad props to Gospel 860 for at least trying to cover the storm of the decade! ;D

Wait a minute....the decade is only 22 days old as of 1/22/10. Who knows?...we may have our first 100 degree day in February and Pppppreston Westmoreland will send Nurse Jeff and me to the Big Apple for a slab of ribs!

Is there such a thing as Gospel Parking Lot 8~Sixty?
