KTAR's expectations from their listeners

Someone's bobble-head is gonna roll!!! ;D

Surely something to gloat about, like a Murrow or AP Award! Russ Hill is shockingly proud of this dubious achievement!

Reflects the bad judgement of their news director (with the unpronouncible name) and snooze dept.. :'(

Gees guys.....have a sense of humor. It was a funny bit, pulled off well. It's a testiment to the authoritative position that listeners put KTAR in that they were able to fool some listeners with such an absurd April Fools joke. It's my experience that ALL good radio offends someone. I think anybody who has been on the air knows that when you light up the phones with angry listeners, you probably did something great!

Nurse Jeff and I are with Nappy on this one. KT'R has insulted us by claiming to be talk radio for normal people, and we most certainly aren't! We'd also like compensation for having to put up with play-by-play sports on 92~Three after the Master Blogger said they would run only on Sports Parking Lot 6~Twenty. Then there's this matter of claiming to be the Number #1 News and Talk station, when that honor belongs to a static filled AM station with a fake studio audience! The Nurse and I've contacted our legal suit and Grant says he's on it 'cause TMISU are known to have rather deep pockets. :-*

3 months since Russ Hill's last blog entry.

Thanks for keeping in touch Russ, I'm glad you are taking the whole "communicate with the public" thing so seriously. ::)

I thought it was a great April Fools gag. Not sure Janet is up in arms over this one. Guess I need to send her another bottle of Aqua Velva to smooth things over... ;D

KTAR played this perfectly. It's a week after the stunt and they got planted on the front page of the republic and turned it into a big ole story on their shows. Meantime, KFYI is searching MySpace pages for employees. Itz crzy how much has changed round here.

Right on analysis...it's a stunt that KFWhyEye should have pulled. The value of coverage given KT'R's toll road prank far exceeds what TMISU have already spent on their own TV campaign. It's not Red vs Blue coverage that makes KT'R top of mind, it's the 51 cent toll on the Squaw Piestewa Peak Freeway!

What's their next "stunt"!!!???

Where's Aunt Carlo???!!! He's missing!!! We can't find him!!!

(Hint: Tied-up somewhere in the Phoenix New Times basement undergoing torture by illegals, publisher Tom Lacey's racist rants and fed cat droppings on an hourly basis).

Aunt Carlo would eat that up! :D

No no no!!!

A fake terror attack report in NYC when the Pope visits! (A la that passe, boring & lame Orsen Wells' "War of The Worlds").

And their discalimer will be: Post-April Fools! Just kidding! We made it so blatently obvious it wasn't really happening. we even had A-DOT shill Doug Nintzel in on the deal!
