KTBN-TV dropping TBN?

According to www.100000watts.com TBN we will lose its Los Angeles Outlet. I am assuming they mean KTBN-TV Channel 40 Santa Ana? What type of programming will KTBN-TV be carrying?

That's correct. Trinity Broadcasting Network will pull out of its partnership with TBN due to unsatisfactory profits. That affects KTBN-TV Santa Ana (Los Angeles).

KTBN-TV will switched from TBN: Trinity Broadcasting Network to MTV: Music Television.

It would be interesting if:

1. 100000watts.com actually said that (it doesn't);
2. TBN didn't actually OWN KTBN/KTBN-DT (it does); and
3. The poster of the above was not the chief bottle washer in FantasyLand.

Who writes this stuff?

Pay no never mind to this person, jv...I've seen his "work" on Wikipedia. Enough said.

4. The post is a copy of the KTNC/Azteca America thread on the California TV Board.

Ah, ShawnHill -- thanks for the heads-up on this one. Seems this person is a big fiction buff.

Let's see... They will be known as "TV 40" with the slogan "You're First With Forty!". They will switch to conventional general entertainment independent. Mornings and Afternoons (6:AM-9:AM, 3:pM-5:pM) will be Classic Kid Vid (Popeye, Tom And Jerry, Flintstones, Mr. Magoo, Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo, etc.), There will be a Classic Sitcoms from 9:AM-1:pM like I Love Lucy, Gomer Pyle, and Family Affair. There will be a "Dialing For Dollars Movie" from 1:pM-3:pM hosted by Gary Owens, More Classic TV Shows from 5:pM-8:pM like Brady Bunch, Hawaii Five-O and Perry Mason, An 8:O'Clock Movie from 8:pM-10:pM, More Classic TV from 10:pM-1:AM like Gunsmoke, Twilight Zone and Night Gallery and a "Movies Till Dawn" from 1:AM-6:AM and let's not forget the weekend like Pro Wrestling and Roller Derby and the return of "Elvira Mistress Of The Dark" hosting a Horror Double Feature every Saturday Nights! Of course this senario is 100% False, but so was the original posting! ;D
