KTCK 1310 filed an application this week with the FCC to boost the daytime power from 9 kw to 25 kw:

It doesn't seem to add a whole lot of new coverage, but I would guess it would help better penetrate office buildings and such at least in the immediate metro area.
 
Turn off the HD on 1310 and they will improve their coverage even more.
 
IBOC seems to have been off since the old towers fell. I don't think it was turned back on when the site was rebuilt.

25KW helps some but does not address power and pattern issues that affect drive times during the fall/winter months.

What stations are afforded protection by KTCK's rather severe night pattern? I presume that the NW null is for the co-channel Joplin, MO facility. What are the others?

The daytime site hasn't changed; it's west of Van Alstyne about halfway between McKinney and Sherman. When they changed their COL to Richardson they added a tower for nighttime service (with 1,000 watts) a few miles southeast of McKinney.

I know you meant NE. In addition to Joplin there are other stations on 1310 like WDOD Chattanooga and WGH Newport News VA that have to be considered. In the daytime pattern the relatively deep null to the south-southwest is because of KVET 1300 in Austin.
