Spotted at FCC.gov and pointed out in this morning's Taylor on Radio:
Involuntary Transfer of Control
From: BUSINESSRADIO HOUSTON LLC
To: THOMAS L. TAYLOR, III, RECEIVER
Form 316
https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/w...xt=25&appn=101390286&formid=316&fac_num=10827
You've got two court orders at the bottom of the page related to the SEC's action against Kaleta and Frishberg (both his financial services company and Businessradio Network LP).
The first order appoints a receiver to take over Kaleta's companies, dated December 2009, which would be around the time that the whole thing started to crumble. The second order, which was approved on June 17, modifies the first order to put DFFS and BizRadio under control of the receiver. It also states that DFFS owes Kaleta Capital Management $1.2 million.
I'm not a lawyer and I don't pretend to understand all of what's happening here, so I don't know if this means the sale to Salem is off or just delayed and complicated by all of this. But it must suck to be The Moneyman right now.
