KTFM taking shots at The Beat

Props to Fabian and Dj Swiss for taking several shots at The Beat and it's airstaff. Here's a couple I heard on several occassions throughout the live broadcast- Get out of the hood(Club Empire) and into a real club(Bonham), Hamm and Dj Ocean...Garbage!!! Xavier, stick to morning radio. Drop that Beat and don't get it Mix-ed up...94-1 KTFM!!! The last one was "We keep taking The Beat ratings."

The last shot explains why The Beat adjusted their format. KTFM has been snagging 98.5 female audience for several months. :-X

Well, given that KTFM is moving towards a Dance direction, this was bound to happen. But if they're expecting to give KBBT a wake up call they'll need more than a alarm clock to shake things up.

Where is your proof that KTFM has had ANY effect on The Beat? The monthlies I've seen show KTFM not doing anything. Nothing. Except perhaps slipping down further. It's hard for a station to get any kind of traction when it adjusts its format on a monthly, if not bi-weekly basis. Please enlighten.

You and I must be seeing different monthlies because KTFM has continue to make progress in it's target demos. Also, when was the last time KTFM adjusted their format? Because the last major adjustment occured when they ditched the Hot AC format.

saradio how about u post those monthly ratings that u always talk about? show us the progress!

18-34 women in the November book is no higher than KTFM was in at least one book in the first half of the year...
