So KTFM makes another tweak to their playlist and leans Rhythmic. This should get interesting as KTFM has added plenty of Hip Hop Hits from years past. But in recent weeks, The Beat has also adjusted their playlist back Hip Hop/R&B. Yes, The Beat will occasionally play J-Lo or something not Hip Hop but for the most part they're back to their roots.
IMO, KTFM probably has the advantage as it doesn't tag itself to one particular format. KTFM has the luxury of playing what's hot such as Britney, Kei$ha, Katy Perry, Edward Maya, Martin Solveig and others. On the other hand, The Beat has street team that seems to be every where in SA and more $$ to play with.
The real question is if KTFM can stick to one format for more than a month. Prior to July, KTFM sounded great and it showed in the June PPM's.
