KTHO

This is a new station licensed to Dewey-Humboldt with what appears to be (per radio-locator.com) a *very* directional antenna aimed at Prescott and points west. Here is a link to the .pdf document on the FCC site about the station.

Radio-locator does not list an owner for this station; and I have no idea yet of the format. I will be going to a Christmas Eve party with family who live near Beardsley and will try to pull in the new outlet from there. If anybody else has already heard this new station, I'd be curious to know what the format is.

This station is affiliated with KNLB in Lake Havasu City, which is repeated on translator K240DC on the White Tanks via KYOT-HD3 (at least it should be at this moment). I imagine they air the same programming as KNLB.

It can't be heard in any part of the Phoenix area due to the HD sideband of KVCP.

Please do not use Radio-Locator as a factual source. Their data is not always accurate and as their former tagline said "Is For Entertainment Purposes Only". @Michi's FCCdata.org has actually updated data from the FCC, which would tell you its owned by Advance Ministries which means it'll be part of the KNLB network.

Thank you for your response. I have made a note to not use that source in future postings to radiodiscussions.com.

It's not about postings here, it's about getting the accurate information you were looking for. Using FCCData would have given you to ownership information you were looking for. Radio-Locator's purpose is to show what stations are in an area for listeners so it doesn't show construction permits, applications, or silent stations.

FCCData.org is my favorite source for information however, they are not always accurate as you may think. I have found several discrepancies on FCCData, especially when it comes to some stations listed as Licensed and Silent when the FCC LMS shows the stations status as Licensed.
Also, Radio-Locator does show Construction Permits. (not a whole lot more.)

Please report such issues to us. We may have an issue with our handling of the LMS facility file data where we get that information from. Trouble reports are taken seriously. In some cases, we only need to run a "push" on our side to fix a record. In 2025, I am looking at a method where users could report problems and if it could be repaired by such a push, the system will attempt to do the push.
