KTIB flips to Spanish under LMA

KTIB has a pretty good signal, covering all of the populated areas of SE LA and even the eastern half of Acadiana. KTIB appears to also have a translator on 103.7 covering Thibodaux/Houma/Raceland

I'm no translator expert, but I believe there's a rule around the translator's coverage and a relation to the primary station's coverage area? If I'm thinking of it correctly, KTIB would be able to feed translators all around New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and "down the bayou".

That is correct. Translators can be located within the 2 mv/m contour (which takes in most of NOLA and Baton Rouge), or within 25 miles of the transmitter site.
