This station however was one of George Laughlin's privately owned stations (He owned KTIB and a station in Texas he received a fine for personally and not with the investment firm)
According to the FCC paperwork, look for a LMA and possible programming change on April 1,2009

But Looks like KTIB will once again will have a buyer who will look at flipping it to becoming another Christian Gospel station like most of the Am band in South Louisiana that isn't talk. (As The purchaser has ownership in a Black Gospel station in Virginia)

In Louisiana, onetime hurricane Katrina victim KTIB (640) is sold, for a price of $700,000. It’s only been a couple of years since George Laughlin added this Thibodaux-licensed AM to the group he mostly built with stations from Clear Channel. But this one has a very different and much messier history – it was off the air following the 2005 roar of Katrina, it went into Chapter 11 and Chapter 7, there was squabbling among the various parties, and it was eventually bought by GAP for $650,000. Recently it’s been “News, Talk & Oldies 640” KTIB. But that may well change under the new owner – Faith Broadcasting of Virginia. It’s just a quirk of fate that the name of the Faith principal on the FCC filing is “Katrina.” (Her full name is Katrina Chase.) Her group is paying 10% down ($70,000) and GAP is holding a five-year note at 6% interest for the balance. Thibodaux is about 40-45 miles west of New Orleans, and the facility has 5-kw days and 1-kw nights.
