What happened to Kurt Wallace. Didn't he just come to KTIS in the Twin Cities to do mornings and be program director? After three weeks he is on his way to a small market to do evenings.

I wouldn't call Columbus a small market, I would say more it is more medium than small. Kurt also will be PD at WCVO so its similar to the KTIS situation. He simply said he received a different calling as he reason to leave KTIS.

Also

There's a stellar former-Twin-Cities talent already there: Jake Sommers, fka Jake Calhoun of K102 (some 10 years ago or so).

There's no way that Columbus could be classified as anything but a large market. They're in the 30's rank-wise.

Arbitron Classificiations: 1-25: Major
26-75: Large
76-125: Medium
126 and down - Small

Kurt has been doing nights via VoiceTracks on WCVO for awhile.

KTIS has some AMAZING studios.... probably the nicest I have ever been in.
