KTLA's Rebecca Hall S-Bombs Vin Scully on live TV

Los Angeles TV/Re: KTLA's Rebecca Hall S-Bombs Vin Scully on live TV

Wow, swearing on the air. I've been a broadcaster (KFSR-FM & KAZM-AM) and my broadcast filter was engaged every second I was on the air.

Now who needs to get their stuff together.

BTW: When I went to CSU Fresno (Spring 1991) one of my teachers was named Rebecca Hall. She was the main reason I left after one semester.

Wow! Does anybody really care that the "S" word slipped out of somebody's mouth on the air in the year 2012? The word is now allowed on basic cable, and I doubt most people make a distinction in their minds between broadcast channels and cable.

Walk down any major urban street in America, and you will hear this word, and worse, within a few minutes.

The only reason it matters, Llew, is that someone who wanted to be clever on television ended up being stupid instead...making the kind of slip that Vin Scully would never make...which is why Vin's the legend he is.

I would have fired her, no questions asked. But I see Rebecca is still with the station.
...perhaps the news/sports actress is maintaining the same casting couch approach she used to get the gig in the first place? Naah, couldn't be...

Well Rebecca Hall slip will give her a seat at HLN, CNN and Fox News.
