KTNQue?

Any Spanish speakers out there know what the DJ is saying here, beginning at 3:29?

https://files.catbox.moe/n0jw7s.flac

I tuned past KTNQ about 30 minutes ago and heard an infinite loop of layered voices with occasional audio glitches peppered throughout it. Checking back 15 minutes later, the station was still stuck in that loop. The possibility KTNQ was stunting prompted me to begin recording. See above. It contains the final minute or so of the aforementioned loop, followed by everything that happened next verbatim (no edits or telescoping of my own), until the host comes on air and begins speaking. I let the recording roll for several minutes after that, but nothing else unusual happened.

This is just a recording of an attorney's paid program about consultation for immigration with call-ins.

Not sure it was a loop. Whatever they use to play audio sounds like it triggered mutliple events simultaneously.

It's possible I was mistaken, but it really did sound like a loop. Though I couldn't understand everything, there were certain unique vocalizations, inflections, and English words my ears seized on repeating in exactly the same way every few minutes or so. That was actually what prompted me to record, thinking it was a stunt rather than a simple case of their automation going fubar. Once their intervention made it obvious it was a mistake, that's when I decided to ask here if anything interesting was explained by the host. ... considering how long the problem had been ongoing. :)

As the only former KTNQ Program Director in this group...

It sounds like three separate prerecorded shows running all at once.

Did you call ktnq to let them know what happened?

Question about 1020, I realize I'm basing this off the "beauty contest" 6+ ratings, but KTNQ has been at the bottom (or near the bottom) for quite awhile. Are their demographics stronger in other areas? I'm surprised a station with that signal doesn't do better, but again I'm basing it on the "free" ratings reports.
