KTON's move-in plans take an interesting turn

After applying to relicense the station from Belton to Lancaster with a 50,000 watt daytime signal and then filing several engineering amendements, KTON 940 has hit another snag. This time it's an informal complaint from Citadel. It seems they're concerned with possible interference to WKY, their Oklahoma City station on 930. It was a really bold application from the beginning and this news isn't surprising, since the threat of a signal clash is a real possibility.

If they get approval, I think they should run IBOC and really punish WKY ;o)
