KT'R Candidates

Nurse Jeff and I were passing the hookah around the Buckeye Media Center last night contemplating all the choices KT'R has for filling the 12:30-3pm slot. Before we drifted off, here's our list of candidates so far:

Liddy & Hill: "putting the smart in smart ass radio" just doesn't sound right following Paul Harvey.

Grant Woods: the salary aint there, but the ego is. A Friday show at worst.

Charles Goyette & Cindy Sheehan: three hours of Bush-bashing is a great alternative to Shawn Hannity.

John Hook: much too logical to capitalize on his FOX10 visibility.

Roberta Gale: if you thought Bruce St James was whiney...just wait!

Lee Iaccoca & Snoop Dogg: works for Chrysler..it'll work for the men in secret underwear.

Jay Lawerence: he gets passed up more than Michael Dixon.

Satellite Sisters: we kinda miss 'em.

Bob Mohan: just look what he did for KFNX!

Tony Famino: Voice to America five days a week PLUS Gaydos!

Akbar 'n Jeff: if Liddy & Hill are smart asses...we're two wise asses!

Bruce Williams, a host so boring and smarmy that he makes Jay Lawrence seem electrifying.

I love listening to him on XM... every caller is from a new picayune village I've never heard of.

In other words, no one is happy with anyone.
Tough crowd.
Try putting yourself in the PD's chair and decide which host and direction you'd take. Not easy!

I was only saying it SHOULD be an easy decision not to pick a show who's top affiliate is Westchester, OK.
