KT'R-FM vs KFYI-AM

Now that TMISU have let the cat out of the bag, I wonder what Cheap Channel will do to counter Bonneville's move to FM? Some possibilities:

  • KFYI takes over 95.5 or another Cheap Channel FM station
  • KFYI stays on AM, continues to whoop KTAR in the ratings

Just a thought: why would Rush & Hannity want to stay on an AM station when an FM station is now available? Is it possible that either of these two shows could make the move to KT'R FM? Does anyone know how long is left on either contract?

Could it be that KT'R will soon be the new home of Rush and Hannity? Could this be the end of Gerald and Cap't Super???

Limbaugh won't be going anywhere. Premiere is owned by Clear Channel so none of their shows (Rush & Jim Rome) will be leaving the CC stable.

Hannity I'm not sure about. I don't know who his syndicator is.

D'oh!! :p I forgot that his excellency was owned by CC.

Hannity is syndicated by ABC Radio. Could be a good fit for KT'R.

Yes siree, Hannity syndicated by ABC. KTAR already with ABC.

Several prospect types (some in market names) in building lately. Everyone looking for a deal with a couple talk show hosts soon. Looks like toaster talk ain't the plan for the future. ;D

But....my toaster is broken! I can't live with burnt toast.

And I got a squeaky fence door.

I demand that we have radio that addresses my needs.

Sincerely,

Edna, from Sun City

The best thing about this site is that if I miss McMan I know I can come here at anytime any day and find loads of people who have heard his every word on every show. I looooooovve it. Thank you. No discussion of anything else on KTAR and no discussion of what any other talk station is doing. Nothing meaningful or original. Just McMan and KTAR all day all night. I love it darlin. 8)

I'm Pat McBland, back in the early 70's when I was more famous, I had this toaster, boy, what a toaster, it was given to me by Bert Convy, a personal friend, I took him to Bill Johnsons Big Apple, because I was famous, anyway, where was I? Oh, yeah, we strapped the onions to our belt because that was the style back then, and nickles used to have pictures of bumble bees on them "Give me 5 bees for a quarter!" we'd say and we would buy more onions (because that was the style back then)

(with apologies to the Simpsons, and the Bert Convy family)
