Okay, so the Men In Secret Underwear pay even more to keep KT'R from sinking further into the swampland around 36th Street & Thomas. With the purchase of KKFR from the Emmis Braintrust, KT'R will soon be simulcast on AM & FM (take that, ChickBoss...we told you it was coming). So now, Nurse Jeff and I want to know who will "purchase" the KKFR calls and programming? A rimshot or a major underperforming player? And to keep things on a level field, will CCU sacrifrice one of their FMs so KFYI can play the same game, or will KFYI be offered on HD2, 3 or 4? And the final question is...Did TMISU pay too much for KT'R or KKFR?? Inquiring Middle Eastern Minds want to know! ???

Stupid move. It's not the band, it's the content. Sophomoric talkers of the ilk of Leykis and Stern have gotten good numbers in 18-34 demos. The only thing preventing anyone not on oxygen from listening to 620 is their godawful lineup, which an FM station won't solve. How about fixing up the lineup and letting the best valley AM signal do the rest.

I wonder if Bruce St James would abadon the Power 92 ship and take back a ahift at KTAR. He could do 1-4 pm on the same frequency he runs now!
