KTRB adds even more savage!

While listening to an A's game on KTRB I heard a promo saying that Savage will now be on in Morning Drive as well, I guess because A's games often interupt his show in the afternoon. Any thoughts? And please leave the politics at home this time.

Uh...I am home. Since I apparently can't comment that Savage is a right-wing nut job, I'll just say - seems like a no-brainer to me. I'm sure he's the most popular show that pathetic station has got.

His network, Talk Radio Network, has run a refeed of his show the following morning for several years. Since he only does 2 hours live a day now, it may also be a re-refeed for part of it, or best of hours they cobble together from multiple former shows.

Wow, this station really is below the radar. The Savage Beast has been on 6-9 in the mornings since the start of baseball season.

Be aware that talk stations don't always take refeeds or original clearances live. Many time shift them. Once it's set up it's just like Tivo for radio shows. The station may take only 2 hours of a 3 hour refeed, or just an hour, depending on what "hole" they need to fill in their lineup. As long as the spots clear within the window specified by the syndicator, they are usually fine with this...it's an extra airing of their spots.

I checked KTRB's website and their only airing Savage from 3-5, I guess thats when he does his live show?

On their front page, they have a rotating series of blurbs. One of them shows handsome Mr. Savage and a note reading:

Savage Nation’s NEW Radio Station
"Sports are like politics. You’re either safe, or you’re out. And I call them like I see them!"
MICHAEL SAVAGE Weekdays 6-9am / 3-5pm

On their program schedule page, KTRB shows "The Savage Nation Replay 6-9am."

On their Savage page, they note the program is replayed from 6-9 AM:

http://www.xtra860am.com/programming/13-the-savage-nation.html

Aside from that, they don't mention it at all...
