Well when do the changes start over at KTRB 860 AM? Pappas can't run this way forever can they? What is going on with getting the day site finished and on the air?

One of my very best, most trusted third-hand sources says that the contract for Oakland A's baseball to move to KTRB/860 next season is a done deal, and may have already been signed by all the principals.
I note that, in addition to calling itself "Truth Radio For The Bay" (very clever), KTRB now proclaims that it is "The Next Generation of Talk Radio."
During most of the day -- 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. -- the average age of your average KTRB talk-show host hovers somewhere near deceased. Only Glenn Beck (44) and Laura Ingraham (43) skew that date down a tad. Boortz, Doyle and Hendrie were "next generation" when Ike was in office and cars had fins...
