Well no more KTRB talk on this board. A promising start that seemed to fizzle? Sounds like KTRB needsa local talk show soon. Maybe "JV And Elvis" of Doghouse fame? I like to see if they do well in the ratings?

KTRB was DOA as a talk station. Duh! Pappas must like wasting $$$$$$
 
I don't belive that KTRB was dead on arrival as a talk station. Yes they made decesions to pick from a restaurant menu for their programing. It also sounds like they went to several different restaurants, one called Free-FM and the other called KSFO.

Some people love certain types of food and hate others. Many network affiliations have 90-day calcelation clauses. KTRB could decide to select from a different restaurant menu.

Better yet KTRB could decide to hire its own chef and cook up some original programing.

Has anyone ever heard of a rave review of a francise restaurant in the Bay Area? Hello no!

Are there rave reviews of local non-francise restaurants in San Francisco and the Bay Area? Hell yes!

If anyone has any other evidence to present please do so, otherwise your honor I rest my case.

To extend the analogy - all 3 stations give me indigestion, and make me want to double up on my supplemental fiber. At least KSFO has star-power (Rush and Dr. Laura). The other two (and KNEW) aren't going anywhere.
