KTRO - waste of space

KJCB said:
As if 93.1 weren't alreay a waste of an FM stick for their mediocre, 5th-place talk programming, now they get an AM?? Ugh.

Welcome to the Salem talk radio philosophy. "Where Your Opinion Counts ...as long as it fits in our extreme agenda".

Salem talk stations have low ratings as a rule. In some cmarkets like San Francisco, they don't even meet the minimum reporting standards.

I'm familiar with their bottomfeeers, but feel the FM station is a waste to begin with. Put it on AM alone and make the FM something decent. Really, they're throwing away money, at least until they sell it, based on stick appreciation, not anything they did.

oh dont worry now hear this

KTRO-A & F/Portland's Talk Moving To AM Side; FM To Flip
SALEM Talk KTRO-A & F (TALK RADIO OREGON)/PORTLAND is running sweepers saying that the FM side will be changing formats WEDNESDAY (3/28) ("A new radio station will arrive to 93.1 FM") and instructing Talk fans to tune to the AM side of the simulcast, 910 AM.

What could be coming to the FM side? Stay tuned....
