KTRS 550 and the NY Post

There was an interesting article in Sunday's NY Post where their media writer, Phil Mischnick, was trashing the move of the Cards to KTRS. Parts of the article ripped KTRS's nighttime signal. I know how well KMOX's signal is.. we can hear it at night up here in New England. How bad is KTRS's nighttime signal, and even at a very low dial position, does it cover the market well ?
You can find the article online @ nypost.com

He obviously needs to get his facts straight......... KMOX cannot, and I repeat cannot be heard in New England. WBNW 1120 out of Concord MA, covers new england at night and day. <P ID="signature">______________

You know, I had a feeling KMOX couldn't be heard in New England!

Thanks for settling that one for me!

You USED to be able to pick up 1120 in New England.

In 1986 I flew into Logan one night and picked up a rental. Turned on the radio, it was on 1120... and it was coming in. The funny part was it took me like 5 minutes before I realized I'm not in St Louis, I'm in BOSTON!

What's the chance someone left the dial on 1120 and a St Louisan got the car?

I bet you can't get it in Boston now, heck you can't get 1120 in Chicago or Detroit for more then 10 minutes on a good night.

KMOX is also weak to the west, it fades a halfway to KC but it smokes south all the way to New Orleans and it spreads over the southeast prety good until mid-Florida.

Yeah, and there's been times when I have picked up KMOX near Denver!
