KTRS and Kramer

A couple of things.I read what the RFTimes wrote. It was pretty much blasting away at KTRS, but I found it interesting that it painted Kramer in such a good light. Sure, he took his little shots here and there, but overall, it made him look like the man up there. I think they're getting there slowly but surely. Frank and Kramer make a GREAT pair for those time slots. I think McGraw is fair, but I think overall having the Cards is going to help specifically Kramer win. I think its something this town needed. It isn't shocking, its just good old fun. What did that ever hurt? The Cards have addressed the weak night signal by having so many more affiliates, so that's not even worth griping about. I think KMOX is going to finally have someone give them a run for their money. Lets hope they don't blow it up before it comes to fruition.

I don't. I think their daytime programming is awful. Yes, Baseball will get the ratings up some, but the rest of day won't gain from it, and they will continue to fall woefully short of KMOX in the ratings.

Its funny that all the old folks in St. Louis never listened to KTRS, ever, but now they're upset. Makes no sense.
I tried to listen to them, but it was so much fluff on KTRS. I could handle Scott and Casey in the morning, but since Imus came to town on 1190AM, I didn't have much use for them. Imus gives you a laugh in the morning, and keeps you informed. Then, Neal Boortz comes on after Imus, and personally, I think that's the best show on radio in the market. He is well informed, and quite entertaining.I'm not a big fan of Franken's point of view, but unlike most liberals, he is a bit entertaining. I wonder how many other former 550 listeners have moved to 1190 like I did. I bet quite a few.

I'm sure of that, but I also wonder how many men between the ages of 25-44 have moved TO KTRS. I am sure, quite a few!
I'm 42. I left 550. Then again, I'm the older end of that demographic.
