what's the deal with this coach a dude? is he really a coach cause he don't sound like one
and i'm not sure he knows much sports either
somebody told me he's a car salesman? buy his way onto the radio????
 
IIRC, he's an assistant football coach and teacher at one of the Catholic high schools. (Incarnate Word?) Hence the "Coach A" nickname.

He's also the ad manager for Fiesta Dodge and Fiesta Lincoln-Mercury.

You can probably tell from his sportscasts that he's very opinionated and very old-school.

He's also the designated backup for most of the KTSA on-air hosts. Personally, I switch stations when I hear he's filling in. IMO, he's a lot like Rush Limbaugh in that he loves to hear himself talk and he's never, ever wrong.

Before being a car salesman, Paul Alexander was a pretty talented TV sportscaster, too. And, I think he also wrote a book - a novel about high school football. (No, not Friday Night Lights).
