KTSO-FM/Tulsa Flips from Eighties to Soft Oldies

https://news.****************/articles/n39617/KTSO-FM-Tulsa-Flips-from-Eighties-to-Soft-Oldies

KTSO (100.9) flips to "Tulsa's Soft Oldies" at 3pm on Tuesday. The Stephens Media Group station has been playing Eighties hits since 2016. The "Totally Awesome 80's" format moves to KTSO-FM-HD2 and translator K233AU at 94.5 FM. The station features acoustic and soft rock from the 70's through 90's with a new on-air lineup. Kent Jones will handle mornings, Faith Martin middays, Dave Weston afternoons and Kevin Meyer APD/evenings.

Playlists will go from 1970's to 1990's for Soft Oldies.

When classical KCFM 94.1 became KTSO around 2000, it stood for “Tulsa Soft Oldies.” Eventually, it evolved to a more classic rock-lite format, and the calls either stood for “The Sound” or “Tulsa's Sound.”
