KTVI anchor Sandy Miller retiring next month
News anchor Sandy Miller is retiring in August after 25 years in television.
Congrats to life after Nexstar.
She is the primary news anchor for KTVI (Channel 2) weeknights from 6 to 10 p.m. Her last day will be Aug. 17.
“It has been a privilege to bring you the stories that impact our community for more than two decades,” she said in a Facebook post Thursday. “I feel extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to work in my dream job. I hope you could see my passion and genuine desire to make a difference.”
Miller began working in St. Louis at KPLR (Channel 11) in 2002 in the corporate marketing department but quickly found her way to the newsroom. She co-anchored the 9 p.m. news on KPLR for four years before moving to KTVI.
