I had the opportunity to watch KTVK's analog signal for a few minutes this morning.
I noticed that, at least during the newscast, the main picture is now a "squeezeback" (don't know if that's the right term -- the layout is reminiscent of what ¡Más! Notas looked like when it was still around, or that music video/news/weather show on KASW in the mornings from a few years back.)
On the left was a message along the lines of "If you are seeing this message, your TV is not prepared for the digital transition", or something like that, followed by an FCC phone number.
There was a scroll along the bottom of the screen explaining the DTV transition.
How long have they been doing this?
