KTVK-New Set; New themes

3TV started their 4:30pm broadcast this afternoon saying they were in their new studio. They also called this the "First In" segment and promised to bring you all the news in 30 minutes. "First In" became the graphic theme for the stories including the sports stories on MLB suspensions and the NHL Coyotes deal completed.

I have to say, they did stick to bringing the local and major national/worldwide stories during this half hour and did not have the cute stories about the 4 year old mayor in Minnesota or other "fluff"/Jeanie Moss type stories.

Doesn't look like a new studio as much as new duratrans (I caught five minutes of GMAZ just to see if it really was new). As for news themes, I'm recording a newscast today (and will be able to tell you if their news theme choice has changed).

No more FLUFF at 3TV!!! Yay!!
 
No real new graphics or music to speak of. It does seem like they've moved to a look that has a lot of blue in it, though.
