Last year I uploaded a few newsletters that were provided by The Breeze Network, and by KTWV.
Over the next few months I intend to upload the various newsletters from the NAC's I received between 1989 and 1998. Today I'm starting with the newsletters I received that were printed in 1989. These are well worth a download, and all are .pdf files.
The Breeze offered a small six page brochure that featured ads for artists and a playlist from their network. Here is the link to the 1989 folder:

KTWV offered a very detailed newsletter, offering playlists, interviews with artists, ads, and station promotions. Here is the link to my 1989 editions of The Wave's Musicletter (March, May, August, October, and November):

While the web can easily provide the same kind of services these newsletters provide today, there was something special about getting these sent through the mail. Especially when this kind of music wasn't being played in your city on a regular basis, and internet streams were several years in the future.
