KTXR 101.3 Springfield MO..How far does it go?

I vacation at Table Rock every year and even in the hills and trees it's like a local at nearly an hour away. The contour says a signal down to Harrison, AR..Thoughts?

For most of the '80s and 90s, I made the run down I-44 from St. Louis to Joplin 2-3 times a year. Sometimes extending south into northwest Arkansas or west to Wichita.

The Radio-Locator maps are pretty much in line with what I remember. On a car radio, I typically had a good signal from roughly Rolla to Joplin. Going south from Springfield on US 65, the signal was steady for about a half hour into Arkansas. During most of that time, "The Gentle Giant" was basically beautiful music instrumentals.

And after decades of Beautiful Music, it turned into mainstream AC and now it's Southern Rock/Country Music. Wow, how times change.

I guess their audience must have died off. "Back in the day", you couldn't escape that station. Office buildings, hotel lobbies, restaurants, c-stores, even truck stops where you'd expect country music. Of course, in a lot of that area known for having rugged terrain, it was the strongest signal on the dial.
