Anybody heard the liner this morning saying that they're moving their Texas country format to KSCS, they've been doing this every half hour, keep listening and afterwards any thoughts.

I thought they were supposed to flip on Monday - and when I was driving back into town - same old boring country.

Last I heard, the flip is set for early June.

I just recorded an aircheck off KTYS's Web stream (if you'd like a copy, please let me know). Looks like they're currently simulcasting KSCS 96.3. What do you make of that?

I like to have one, looks like they're going to move their audience over to 96.3. What will 96.7 become?

How about "Mike" Shannon's true oldies format, presently heard on KMNY?

;)

I flipped over this morning, they're not simulcasting... yet. KSCS and Twister are playing different music. Also, why is the Twister not directing listeners over to The Wolf, too? Bizarre. :)

Because the twister and the big 96.3 are owned by the same company! the wolf is not and would be there direct competitor..

Umm.. yea I was being sarcastic.

The new 96.7 KDL The Texas Party Station...LOLOL

This is getting so old!!!!!!!!!! Fip it or don't flip it... Just stop with the tired sweepers. It really doesn't matter anyway - It is Citadel so it is going to fail anyway. ::)

I figured they would've just flipped it by now..What is the point of this. "Texas country is moving to the Big 96.3" Well WHEN?? lol.

They're just trying ride on the attention that they usually don't get for as long as they can....

who cares? stations tweek formats every few years. we all still have to go to work again monday, pay out the yang for gas, groceries and
anything else we need or want. is a radio station changing format or tweking its existing one really all that important? peace out.

I've been wondering that myself. But I have a feeling it will be soon. I have been listening to the internet stream constantly this week. A few days ago, they were telling their listeners to move to KSCS about every half hour or so. Now, they are playing the "Move to the Big 96.3 KSCS" liners after almost every song.

And something else to note: tomorrow is the 1st of June and radio stations do tend to flip at the start of a new month. So perhaps midnight tonight or sometime tomorrow morning?

Or they could wait until monday morning perhaps while everyone is commuting to work (since more people will probably be listening).

If they don't do it tomorrow or monday, then I don't know when it'll happen.
