KUBE 93.3, KJR 95.7, KPLZ 101.5 FM

These 3 FM stations that I listed above needs to move to West Tiger Mountain otherwise they'll be downgraded to Class-CO from a full Class-C. How come they can't move to West Tiger Mountain? I think it is a better location than Cougar Moutain.

Other than a little bit of protection, I suspect they don't really care.

Nobody sets valuations based on class anymore. Cougar Mt. plays to the market just fine. In fact one could argue that the Cougar stations have superior building penetration due to the higher ERP and closer to the downtown corridor than West Tiger. Don't get me wrong, Tiger is a pretty good site, but there are clear pluses and minuses to both sites that are a wash.

Not in favor of Cougar Mountain, but stations on Tiger Mountain tend to have the largest coverage due to the elevation. 94.1, 102.5, and 106.1, in the outer fringes, have been heard all the way into Ellensburg to the east, Yakima to the southeast in some cases (both despite the Cascades being in the way), Longview to the south, on the coast to the west, Victoria BC to the northwest, and Bellingham to the north.

Can you hear m NOW?

That's nice, but the ability to be heard in downtown (and other) Seattle buildings means more in the ratings, and will mean even more in the forthcoming PPM age.

It's not about distance; it's about in-city strength.
