KUBE-TV Transitioning to ShopHQ

Looks like ShopHQ has taken over the vast majority of the KUBE-TV schedule. There are still a handful of programs here and there, but I'm guessing these are only being aired to fulfill contractual obligations. After all, why else would you air 2 episodes of Seinfeld at 7pm surrounded by home shopping?

The changes started a couple of months ago. Initially ShopHQ took over half the 57.1 broadcast day, and has been expanding hours since then. Word on the street is that new KUBE owner RNN finally gave up on running a general English language entertainment station, and are now going down the “whatever brings in money” path. I suspect the remaining non-shopping programming will be dropped once contracts expire or out clauses can be exercised.

KUBE is currently running eleven subchannels of varied programming.
