My how the once mighty have fallen. I remember when they were a ratings juggernaut, and how awesome they sounded in from '82-'90. Then they fell off into the (c)rap pool. Where's Charlie & Ty when Seattle radio needs them? (I know that they are retired...and good for them, they deserve it.)

Wow...what a flash back. The only inaccuracy I saw and heard was that it was Tom Hutyler that did the 'deep voice guy' liners...that was actually Charlie Van Dyke who did those. Last I heard he was still doing liners for KRTH and KOOL.
I used to call them "Jingleradio" as a kid. When compared to todays boring radio, this sounds fresh and fun, even if it's over 20 years ago.
Just saw the latest figures; KUBE continues to stink it up, coming in just above KIRO-AM and KING. KING's figures are fine though, as they are a specialty format that caters to a specific audience.
KYNW's numbers are laughable.
Whats the deal with the Sinclair stations not even being measured for this month? If the Sinclair lot was included, KUBE and KYNW would appear even worse.
