Let me translate the above for people that are a little more educated:

I am very disgusted at the current musical selection on KUBE-FM. I am also no fan of Mr. Eric Powers and can list many other jocks that are more to my liking. The Night Time Playaz aren't my cup of tea either and I find Mr. Rob Tepper unbearable. I intern for the Big Boy show and they bought me a bottle of OE to post this for them. Have a wonderful evening and a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
 
i just think that it's funny that both Shelly Hart and Eric Powers were outside of Movin 92.5's concert the other night. I had friends that won tickets to the show and went and they said both of them were on the corner handing out stickers. that's pretty sad. why would they even be there when they're number 1? interesting..

Are they supposed to sit on their butt and let number one slip away?

Heaven forbid the PD and midday talent do some simple grass roots promoting.
 
KUBE is in error for encroaching on to Movin's territory. It's weird that they would be after 18-34 women that live in cul-de-sacs/suburban apartments and have small children and tickle-me Elmo dolls. KUBE needs to concentrate on what they do best............reaching the angry, high testosterone male 18-24 core demo. KUBE doesn't know who or what they want now as they try to please all the poeple, all the time. Sinking to a new low on imaging.
 
I heard Movin flew a banner over Kube's Summer Jam. You know what they say about payback.
I say "all's fair in love and war."
 
I also feel that T-Man is clearly more talented than Big Boy. However, Big Boy has more name recognition nationwide. I've been able hear both shows quite often for many years.

a om and pd "grassroots marketing"? no, that's just pathetic. if movin was #1 then that's one thing. but kube is the big dog. why would they even let people know that acknowledge the presence of movin? plus, stickers and cd's is lame, it's not grassroots marketing. if they wanted to stick it to movin they could have done something cooler than handing out stickers. Actually, AQH has been one of the very best on this board.

This is just one thing at one event. That doesn't mean the effort stops there.

Wow, and I thought the earlier post was beyond belief.

KUBE should sit there with its thumb up its rectum and sit around and wait for others to try and knock them off their perch -- is probably the dumbest things they, or any other station in their position, could do.

Give KUBE some credit....they could have very well hauled some zit-faced promotions intern(s) out there. But instead, a couple of KUBE's most recognized faces got out there and beat the pavement. Imagine that, an unpaid promotional event that both midday and afternoon jocks went out and did.

You don't think I know what I'm talking about, huh? Well, think whatever you want, Chief.

KUBE shouldn't bat an eye at Movin'.
They really shouldn't react to Movin, no matter what.
Reacting is acknowledging.
Bad call on KUBE's part.
 
as long as they keep it off air they are doing EXACTLY what they need to be. hand to hand on the streets...each one recruit one! all battles are won on the front lines, not in the conference room
