Kudos to KJOY program director Bill Edwards

KJOY 98.3 this week started running weather reports from meteorologists from the weather channel. It may not be much, but I actually think it's refreshing for KJOY to have professional meteorologists at the helm like WALK has with Pat Pagano. It's a significant coup for Edwards to sign a deal with a major organization like the weather channel, so if you read this board from time to time Mr. Edwards, congratulations.

This is just a big trade deal. B-103 had this a few years ago and I had to do this back at WLNG in the 90's. It's so easy to get accurate weather online that anyone who knows even a little about weather can have an intelligent conversation about it on the air.

Then again, this is Long Island radio 2007....................... ::)
