Kudos to KWTX-FM Waco for West Explosion coverage

Thank you, 97.5, for blowing out your entire programming schedule to simulcast KCEN-TV's coverage of the events following the fertilizer plant explosion in West, TX. While others in the market stuck with their music formats, to hear the local top 40 provide continuous coverage of a local emergency went above and beyond. It was appreciated.

Ironically, their closest, strongest signal to West (KBRQ 102.5) was still running their rock format.....

All the Clear Channel stations in Waco, including KBRQ and KWTX-FM, aired the same wall-to-wall TV coverage through morning drive. They all resumed somewhat regular programming around 10:00. The local CBS and ABC TV affiliates did the same.

Well then I guess CC's iHeartRadio must be running a different feed for KBRQ online.......

Correct...at least on Wednesday night. Coverage on Thursday was heard on their streams, as well. There is a thread concerning this on the Dallas board.
