Let me preface this applause with the fact that I can't stand Pat Whitley.
He, in my opinion, is a big blowhard who allegedly likes to get free, excuse me, allegedly bartered dinners to yap about restaurants on the air, when he's not spouting Republican Rhetoric.

That being said, I interrupted my remastered Hendrix Band Of Gypsys CD in the Grand Am stereo (Must be my SIXTH copy of that amazing disc) and Whitley popped on talking about Oxycontin and such - possibly because of the ridiculous "Hemp" Fest today. It was very good programming, extraordinary programming for Mr. Whitley - too bad he didn't do stuff like this while on prior to Depetro "taking over".

The callers and Whitley were pretty remarkable. Though I do not agree with
Pat calling for the legalization of marijuana. Please. Pot is just too dangerous a substance, and Whitley, of all people, shouldn't be calling for something of such "liberal" agenda. But have to give the devil his due, what I heard was good radio - for a change - on "the balk station".

Anti-drug progressive liberal

Wasn't taste of Boston today? Yikes, hordes of hippies with the munchies
heading straight for the food!
