WLEV is coming around! Now the djs need to be a little more edgier. The mix is great and I think they can do even better. Sure, I have to sit through Matchbox 20 and Buttcrack but they eventually get to some U2 and Tom Petty amongst other decent stuff. Also, Cyndi Lauper! Whoo!!!

and here i was expecting to see they fired management ... oh well lol

WLEV is sounding excellent these days. i'm surprised there's not more conversation about it. this station is pretty much pure jack-fm. i think they need an image change and a media blitz because most people still think of this station as soft rock, which they definitely are not.

I was sampling WLEV today, and I must say that I was impressed with their music mix. They do sound like a variety hits station. They seem to focus mostly on the 80s, 90s, and now with a sprinkling of the 70s. It was refreshing to listen to a station with that type of variety without the disco. Good sounding station. I've decided to add them back to my presets.

I forgot to mention this in my previous post. Does Delilah do well on 100.7? With their music mix, doesn't Delilah seem a bit out of place? If the station is trying to get away from the "soft rock" image, I don't think keeping Delilah on during the weeknights is the way to go. But, if the show is doing well on 100.7, I guess I can't blame them.

You are correct. Delilah no longer fits. They need a live and local show. Of course yours truly is available!

i have no numbers on delilah, but from my own observations, i think many people (especially women) love her too much to remove her from 100.7. i went into a gift shop the other night and the woman behind the counter was crying her eyes out. i asked her if everything was alright. she said "delilah is such a beautiful woman with a good heart and she makes me cry" i was like oh brother.

you're right though. delilah doesn't fit WLEV's new jack-like format, yet i've heard delilah on hot AC stations in some parts of the country. so it's not always just AC stations that carry her.

just goes to proove ignorant sheep will flock to almost anything.. delilah is nauseating. blech. maybe that's why we beleive the "stuff" the media belches forth???
