Combined this month KUFX has a 1.7 share, 0.1 behind The Band, 0.8 behind KFOG, and 1.0 behind The Bone

Certainly in the same area as Live 105, Alice, The Band, and beating The Wolf but far behind the leaders KOIT, KCBS, Now, Wild, KGO, KMEL, KIOI and KISQ.

An average rating does no good to calculate because success depends on the numbers for the particular demographic the station is trying to serve. However, it used to be that a station drawing less than a 2.0 was considered for a format change, the wisdom being that it was hard to turn a station pulling less than a 2.0 profitable. However, KFAX disproved that idea. I don't think they've ever pulled a 2.0 in 50 years, but they have been immensely profitable over the years.
